After a relatively tame series of sneaker releases from French fashion house Lanvin, their most provocative sneaker design this season comes to us in the form of a “Camo Stud” High-Top. With a combined seven years of tutelage and forging relationships under two of the most influential designers in the industry – Thom Browne and Michael Bastion – New York-based Marlon Gobel has finally ascended the mainstream. With his junior collection due out Spring/Summer 2011, luxury footwear designer Christian Louboutin made true on the rumors by designing an exclusive collection for Gobel’s Fall/Winter 2011 menswear presentation during New York Fashion Week this past Thursday. Complementing Gobel’s line were a range of Louboutin’s motifs from hybrid gold colored spiked slippers and the calmer nude suede slippers with bauble details on the front.

Eeven against questyionable christmas styled jumpers and checked trousers, the gold spiked pigalle rollerballs still lookedamazing.
