I managed McDs for several years in a prior life, both for McOpCo (McDonald's Corporation) and private franchisees.
Both of them had rules about not physically getting involved in altercations between customers, but it was from the stand-point of putting yourself in harms away, and creating a liability (regardless of who is wrong or right, if you touch a customer, you can personally be sued, as well as the company).
If this were my store, and I was the manager, I don't think I would have touched the two girls doing the assaulting, but I would have physically gotten between and the girl they were beating the crap out of. If they wanted to punch me, fine. But that's also because I'm 6ft3 and 250lbs (a lot bigger than the blue shirt manager in the video) and those two girls don't scare me.
If this was a situation where I thought I may get hurt, I don't know if I would do the same.
It seems like the manager disappeared for awhile in the middle of the video. I hope it was because he was calling 911. The crews reaction was horrible. Had the crew have remained behind the counter and acted in a professional manner, the outcome of this event wouldn't have been any different, IMO.

Okay, you've got me. Pirating stuff is fun and nobody will ever get to you. And if they do it's still fun since you don't get a criminal record. And if you got one then it would be totally unfair. Man, I am a total idiot for even considering to buy stuff. You know, pay money for it.

the deadline i think is Nov. 14 when the Zune is coming out. If passes that I would think maybe at MWSF.
The main goal is the holiday season. After middle of November is too late to launch such a product.

I'm glad that Apple did this.
I'm tired of the people who argue that Mac OS X should be like Windoze. That is, to be able to install Mac OS X on any system other than a Macintosh.

Sorry, this idea is horrible. People are going to downrate posts because they disagree with someone's opinion, not because it's a bad post.

Really VictoriaStudent, lol I agree with BForstal on what people would do in the same situation 100 percent, and I'm not trying to brag about anything, and I cant even believe this thread has reached 3 pages. Sec I have no reason to troll!!! I have been a member of this forum since and even though I have never really posted anything I have found wealth of knowledge over the years from people in these forums. Wow and you cannot judge a person's character by a mistake a cashier made in a store!!! Like I said everybody is entitled to there own opinion, If you were to make note of the mistake to the store if it happened to you and it makes you feel so highly above any one else, more power to you. I saw a post of a guy online who actually hooked up his Samsung to a massive HP 60"(?) monitor that actually takes 1080p/24 scan signal (I guess a lot of TVs will take only 1080i and will upscale it to 1080p inside the TV) and he says Bluray is great! Do people actually have this sort of monitor?

No, smitty was correct. MS uses version numbers that identify it's code. It's how software devs can write code that decides whether the app should be allowed to install.
In a command prompt, use winver. Note the version listed
EG, Windows 95, NT 4, 98, and ME are all considered Windows 4.x. 2000 and XP are both 5.x, Vista and Windows 7 are 6.x. So it's clear 7 is nothing more than marketing.
