I hate these ridiculous statements. Samsung is a huge conglomerate that builds everything from microchips to 100 story sky scrapers. They don't need Apple to survive.

People didn't seem to care about the "gay plague" because it only affected gays. People cared about Ryan White and the Ray brothers, they didn't care about iniquitous obnoxious gays and lesbians.
So then they had sex with the person of opposite gender, they adopted or test tube baby.

I'm assuming that you are talking about ACT UP and their tactics...but iniquitous? Really? A bit dramatic even for you. They did what had to be done in a time when nobody wanted to acknowledge what was happening. And they also tried to fight the ignorance that was associated with the disease..IE..."gay plague". Is a "test tube baby" (I do hope you know there are much more modern ways) by a gay/lesbian any less than that of a straight person? Does it matter how we are having them? The point is that we are. And snide remarks doesn't negate it. I understand that the concept is scary for you and people who think like you. I do hope that you can learn to adapt to our changing world. With all rumor-eyes looking toward the next generation iPhone 5, it's not clear how much demand there is for the white iPhone 4 which is now 10 months late from the original launch. So, here's a poll to see who is planning on buying a white iPhone 4.
Unless anyone is willing to pay crazy early termination fees to replace the same model phone they already have (just in a different color), knowing on top of that that it's about to be outdated, who in their right mind would even consider it? Dumb poll.

There are no print ads. Thus its extremely difficult to accuse someone of bait and switch. Sites like macrumors and slickdeals are doing all of TJ Maxx's advertising for them. Brilliant.
Yes some marketing guy at TJ gets a few coworkers to go to the local Apple store (Or maybe Walmart) and they buy 100 iPads and sell them at a $10,000 loss. They get more advertizing that way them paying $10K to an ad company. This gimmick is dirt cheap, cheaper then just one newspaper ad.

The local Apple Store was not selling the 2nd Generation Shuffles today... So I went and bought one at the Best Buy right down the road for the same price. Turns out, I'm reading they're definitely not supposed to have them for sale yet. Anyhow, get them while they're hot in Aventura, FL!

I only read the first post, but since your asking opinions I would say it depends on a couple of things?
Do you feel your son is responsible enough to use protection, after all you may want grandchildren, but not this early.
Finally depending on if your son is going away to college or not your gonna have to face the music that sleep overs are gonna happen there regardless

I wonder how many of these posts are trolls? I haven't had any issues whatsoever with 4.3.1. I also didn't have any problems with 4.3; battery life has been absolutely stellar and call performance actually improved in 4.3.1.
The timing of all these "bitching" posts just seems suspicious.
Oh, I beg to differ. I (and pretty much my entire family) are major Apple product users (day 1 iPhone users, etc). My brother uses the 3GS and I have the iPhone 4. Both of us report MAJOR change in battery drain over the past month or two. The battery drains 2-4 times faster than before. My battery drain was so significant I took it in for service. The apple store said that the battery checked out ok but that since the performance was off, they would do a battery switch-out... which turned out to be a new phone. However, the issue is identical. Now I must walk around with a charger as it can drain in just a couple hours, certainly in half a day, with only mild use. This is a major software issue and I hope it gets fixed. This is not just "bitching"...

I don't think there ever was a ppc 602 processor... at least in a mac. Am I wrong? 601, 603e and 604 (SWEET!).
As I recall, the 602 was an embedded applications processor like the 40x line.

Looks great, but as my main email account is not a .mac account and POP doesn't really do it for me, I'll only use it if they provide IMAP access.
The only real reason that I use .mac are its backup and synchronization features which are hardly worth paying $99 a year for. .mac still needs to come a long way to stay competitive and this is reasonable start, but a new interface is only that - a new interface. More space, more features and better functionality are the only way .mac will come out of the dark ages and join the rest of Apple's innovative, first-class products.

As far as I'm aware, I think I'm correct in saying that FaceTime ONLY works via wi-fi (non JB).
My question, then, is this - if I had 1 iPhone 4 connected to a 2nd iPhone 4 via Personal Hotspot (so in theory - it IS on wi-fi), would FaceTime work to a 3rd compatible device?!
