It doesn't at the moment. The biggest capacities are 64GB. The standard allows for cards up to 2TB, when they eventually arrive (maybe in 5-10 years).
I'm thinking your ETA is off.
Way off.

Kinda agree i could seem myself using a iPad over my MBP when i am not working, having that separation from programming is what appeals to me.
I want to work when i work and not have to think when i am just browsing the web, in reality the iPad covers all my computing needs when i am not programming.
Though it would be lovely to have Aperture on the iPad to cover my hobby needs but it would require some from of local wireless storage access as i don't think many 25MB images would fit on 64GB.
but people that have 25MB images and need Aperture at all wouldn't be considered "normal" either

This survey is seriously flawed. I've been unable to secure an AT&T iPad within the 3 stores near me.
Verizon iPad? They have them, at all combinations. Wi-Fi? Hit and Miss, but AT&T iPads are gone.

Therefore the average Japanese would pronounce 'lobster' with an 'L' but 'rabbit' would be pronounced 'labbit'.
Actually, the English word "rabbit" is pronounced "rabitto" in Japanese, without any hint of an "l" sound.
The Japanese "r" sound is not an "l" sound, but rather a short, rolled-tongue, nasal "dr" sound. (Imagine "drabbito," with the "dr" sound coming off the tongue very lapidly, er, rapidly.)

We got Apple store, bestbuy, target, At&T store and Walmart within 2 miles of stonebriar
Still undecided on whether to go to the Apple Store or BB...
Either way will probably head over to Stonebriar since I don't think there's a BB near Willow bend....

$20 discount? BFD!
That doesn't impress anybody, much less educators.
For buying 10, the discount should be $100 per unit. Buy 100, $125 off per unit.

You have no idea how much you're about to be disappointed.
Yep- because any government should exist to benefit all it's people, not just one group over another. Sad to see this sickness infesting Canada too.
I'm sorry Lee, but this really isn't a new phenomenon in Canada. If the winners get a majority, they basically tell the others to F off. When the Liberals had a majority, they pretty much did what they wanted. They became arrogant. When the Progressive Conservatives under Mulroney had a majority in the 80's, same thing. Only when there is a minority government is there a little bit of give and take between the parties.

Only until the remaining stock of Gen 1's sell out, then things should get better. I have a 64GB 3G Gen 1 and a 64GB 3G Gen 2 and I still think the original model is perfectly fine.
Actually... I think the price for iPad 1st gen has already been this low. If you wanted to sell, you should always sell right before Apple upgrades. That way, you get the most bang for your buck upgrading and the most buck for your bang selling.

2) Who paid for the coffee? :D
Eric: Wow, Steve. Thanks for buying coffee. What is this?
Steve: It's a magical blend of coffee and flavorings that I special order. It's my own idea. Taste it.
Eric: Delicious! This is your idea? No kidding? It's amazing!
Steve: I'm glad you like it.
Eric: Someone could make a lot of money selling this.
Steve: We're going to start selling it in the Apple Stores next month.
Eric: Really? What's in it?
Steve: Well, here, Eric. I can trust you. I'll write the list of the ingredients down for you.
Eric: Oh good.
Steve: And Eric?
Eric: Yes, Steve.
Steve: If Google introduces their own special coffee blend next month, I'll chop your _____ off.
Eric: Um...
Steve: I'm serious. Snip! Snip! Gone.
Eric: Uh... okay, then... um, never mind the list. Thanks anyway.

I like Pages but it's definitely crude at the moment. They should have gone more for a desktop publishing application than a word processor with desktop publishing features. If they'd included a slide sorter for the pages, it would make so much more sense.
As far as MS Word goes, it was great at version 4, so-so at version 5, really bad at version 6, and it continues to slide downhill. Feature bloat is a problem with most software releases now. One application does not have to do it all, including Pages.

Everyone seems so shocked by the minor discount they don't stop to think a little broader...
....this probably means Apple is already pricing these exceptionally low and can't discount them any more than that.
Further I seem to recall the iPhone and iTouch weren't available for volume or educational purchasing for quite some time... I know they weren't available through bussiness accounts for a quite some time.
The other thing this suggests is that there won't be a $100 price drop in 3-6 months like there was on the iPhone... if they were to be able to drop the pricing that much in the near future they'd offer education a bigger discount now.
Finally for those that don't see why these would be a boon for universities... most students going into university already have laptop, they don't really want to buy new laptops through their university. Requiring all incoming students but a $500 iPad is a lot more palatable than requiring they all by $2000 laptops. Having the entire student body standardized on one platform is huge for teachers and authors.

Yes and no. There is a "new" Dashboard for waggle controls...I mean Kinetic, allowing easy motion access to things like FB, movies, movies and the basics. However, it'll be controller driven for the main part still.
Ah I see. Thanks.
All of the features in this xbox should have been included in the original, like the ps3. I want one, but will wait for mine to die in 2-3 years.
Ironic that tonight my father rang me up and told me that he turned the xbox on and it has the RROD... maybe he'll buy one of the new ones! :p

Instead of suing everyone, kodak needs to get on this retro kick and start selling kodachrome camera's and film again for cheap. Stop using digital, start developing.
Second that. There's a niche market (I think) amongst a few for film. Unfortunately, its become really expensive proposition. Even if you pay $2 for a roll and $10 for developing/processing, its crazy expensive compared to digital. If they could some how make it cheaper it could be successful.

Once again, this is the start of the tablet era. Don't think of it in terms of the iPad we have in 2011. Think of it in terms of the iPad of 2020. That will blow the doors off anything we know today. It will sync to the cloud, will have voice input, far better keyboard input, connect to every other device you own, and no, I don't know how but I will enjoy watching it unfold.
By 2020 the vast majority of consumers will think of a tablet as their computer and only specialists will get anything like what we call a computer today.
By the way, people own lots of computers today. They just call them the phone, the DVR, the ...
