I like to inform everyone to watch news on tv, or read news on the internet about the 8.9 magnitude earthquake that occurred in Japan few minutes ago. Tsunami warning are now up and it will hit Philippines between 5pm and 7pm today March 11, 1011.
Coastlines in Japan was strucked by a 30 foot wall of sea water minutes after the earthquake. The tsunami now travels across the ocean going to hit islands of Guam, Hawaii and others and it also includes the Philippines, a 93km/ph body of water will hit us. People who live nearby coastline should evacuate immediately.
I'm now watching CNN, BBC and ANC and Im getting updates about the tsunami
Our local government are doing actions in helping our people who are living near the sea, they advised that evacuation should start now on foot and never wait for the vehicles. Time is already running out and the tsunami will be here after a few hours.

The list above was provided by Inquirer, for major cities that will experience the tsunami invasion today
and here's the map provided by ABS CBN, the red marks on the land will experience the tsunami
A strong distant earthquake occurred NEAR COAST OF HONSHU, JAPAN at 1:46 PM, 11 MARCH 2011 (Philippine Time), located at 38.2 N, 142.5 ÂșE with depth of 10 km and a preliminary magnitude of 8.8. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center sea level monitoring stations confirmed the occurrence of a tsunami.
PHIVOLCS Tsunami Alert Level is now 2. The concerned public is advised to BE ON ALERT FOR UNUSUAL WAVES. Based on tsunami wave models and early tide gauge records of the tsunami in the Pacific, coastal areas in Philippine provinces fronting the Pacific Ocean are expected to experience wave heights of at most one meter. The first tsunami waves will arrive between 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM MARCH 11, 2011 Philippine time and may not always be the largest. These waves may continue for hours.
People are advised to stay away from the shoreline during this period. People should not go to the coast to watch the tsunami. People whose houses are very near coastal areas facing the Pacific Ocean are strongly advised to go farther inland.
Only the coastal areas fronting the Pacific Ocean of the following provinces should keep watch:
Batanes Group of Islands Sorsogon Cagayan Northern Samar Northernmost areas of Ilocos Norte Eastern Samar Isabela Leyte Quezon Southern Leyte Aurora Surigao del Norte Camarines Norte Surigao del Sur Camarines Sur Davao Oriental Albay Davao del Sur Catanduanes
Owners of boats in harbors, estuaries or shallow coastal water of the above-mentioned provinces should secure their boats and move away from the water front. Boats already at sea during this period should stay offshore in deep waters until further advised. - PHIVOLCS-DOST
(I'm watching the ANC news and live press con of Philvolcs on tv) Philvolcs advises that people should not go back on the coastline after 7pm, there will be more tsunami with a 10 meter wave will still hit the land, Batanes will be experience the tsunami first between 5pm to 7pm, and then later on the Southern part. First wave that will hit will be big and later on smaller waves will follow, but as the officials of Philvolcs said that they are not sure and have no precise calculations of the sizes of the waves.
Nina Corpuz of ANC is in Batanes doing a live report and she said that the sea is very calm and low tide and everything looks normal, people of Batanes are now evacuating.
