My SMART Evolution LTE test in Boracay production note 4

Continuing our live test of the SMART Evolution LTE internet connection, were they bring the fastest internet connection speed that goes up to 60mbps-100mbps, but here in our field testing site in Boracay, we receive a total of 57mbps to 60bmps, and the speed depends on our location and I felt that surfing outside the building is much faster and smoother, but I don’t even complain if ever I receive 20mbps, for me..it is still fast, but it is much better if I get a full speed, but I’m very happy for a 50mbps on some location I sit in here in Boracay. (more story below)

We ate our dinner in Epic bar and I told my group that we try the LTE connection and bring our laptops there at the bar, Tech Pinas is on the pic here trying the LTE connection to his laptop, I went online and then upload another set of 260mb PSD files and I upload it using an FTP server, the upload finishes so fast and I haven’t finished my pasta meal when the full upload is done. I was surprised that I finished my workload for Manila and I joked to my group here that I started to get bored because there’s nothing  I can do next because my work is done for Manila and my time in publishing content online and uploading files is smooth and fast…it is my first time to upload and download files so fast using my duo core Acer laptop.

Aileen Apolo-de Jesus was there too using her netbook, we compared speed rate of download and upload and the explanation from the SMART tech guys said that the performance and specs of the PC or laptop can affect the speed of the LTE because gadgets and computer units have their own limits, so if you have faster processor for your laptop, you can receive a full higher speed LTE internet connection speed, it will also applies to mobile phones.. because I heard that the LTE will soon serve wifi and mobile internet connection to mobile phones and it is still depends on the phones limits.. all we know it can receive 3G and HSPA as this moment.

The SMART Evolution LTE roll out just started and it will be soon finish at the end of the year or early 2012, we can expect a full speed internet next year and get all the joys of downloading and uploading..and also..publish your self online, I even shared that I can even start my online TV show if ever I have LTE at home..oh wow!

My SMART Evolution LTE test in Boracay production note 3

Here’s my 1st encounter with the SMART Evolution LTE, after the demo and briefing, I immediately tried the plug and play USB dongle that is powered by SMART Evolution LTE, after a few configuration with the tech people of SMART, I experience a fast speed mobile internet in my laptop, I uploaded this 200mb PSD files and it finishes for about 5 minutes, after the upload, I uploaded again another 200MB, and it takes for a short time to finish…oh wow!! so fast…this is the fastest mobile internet for me.

it delivered us a promising speed of 53.48mbps DL and 2.15 UL connection, we are located inside a function room and if I go out of the room the DL speed can reach up to 72mbps. I now blame the walls of the room for the signal interference and also I heard that trees can also affect the signal strength.

After the joys of the fast LTE speed, I managed to upload some of my files needed for work, and with a click of a button, and in just minutes..all of my work are done in an instant…wow!!!!

I’m super happy with the LTE..and I want to take this home with me in Manila hahaha

Meeting infront of a giant Recognizer in a productive Monday

I just got a very productive Monday and I loved the start of my week and even that I complain too much that my schedule is almost screwed up and my calendar is not well organized, but here I am receiving good news, good offer and a new upcoming busyness that will be brewed starting today.

I feel that SMDC is building a giant Recognizer ship of TRON in SM MOA complex, check it out!

The day starts here, after I ate my spaghetti and burger in Jollibee, I walked going infront of that giant Recognizer and held a meeting nearby. I’m wearing my Sominio running shoes and a white shirt with label “Mars needs Moms” , I went to a corporate meeting wearing my geek outfit, and ohh its great to meet Ayet again and stumbled each other as she exits that building, really great to see her, so energetic with lots of raket ideas in her eyes hahahah. 


I took a photo of that Recognizer-like building, at first I imaging that they are building their own Super Dimensional Fortress. Kulang na lang lagyan si Mazinger Z sa gitna. hmmmmm toy photo shoot tayo with robots!


After my meeting in SM MOA, I teleported to Glorietta 5 and greeted by a Venti size Cafe Latte in Starbucks..ohh yummy coffee to end my day. Great talks with the girl who treated me a coffee drink and a nice chat about social media. Awesome night and because of that..I cooked pasta at home with my wife, ate together in the dining table and celebrated our productive Monday.


After the meeting, I plan to get my shopping fix in SM Makati, then I saw this Toki Doki wall posted in a new renovated section of their ground floor. hmmmm Toki Doki bags???

Then I searched for that same head gear that I used to wear during my early years of blogging, I went to the 2nd floor and found a small collection of hats, I saw some new designs, but I decided to get a branded one, but then I encountered sales lady sweeping the floor.. well all of them are sweeping the floor, makes it weird, then realized that the mall is starting to close at 9pm hahahah.

I went home empty handed but my mind still rolls and brain conceptualizes too much while listening to Third Eye Blind greatest hits in my Philips Go Gear. I went home with a hungry stomach, and the story ended that me and Lace cooking pasta at home.

10th Philippine Toy con production note 1

It's funny that my first ever production note for the 10th Philippine Toy Con will be about a rant! hahahaha. but I'll just avoid writing too much and I might mention lots of stuff here in my blog.

Ok what happened?

1. I'm editing the event website last night and then I did something wrong that prompts the Wordpress to crash in my blog

2. the template was gone and I can't log in

3. I decided to move the files from another WP folder and then it seems that I exported the wrong file and deleted the old files

4. a total of 2 years of Toy Con content posted in WP is gone! ohh no.

5. To move on and do the next thing.. I'm moving the site to blogspot again~

6. I'm going to meet my group today and discuss more about the event and also pay for the renewal of our domain and hosting

7. yun lang :)
